Scheme establishment

Working closely with ecological consultants, we develop proposals that create a mosaic of habitats in keeping with the landscape character to optimise biodiversity unit yields and saleability.

We apply a holistic approach to scheme development, considering opportunities to provide additional ecosystem services that can be monetised, such as the creation of nutrient credits where schemes are within catchments affected by nutrient neutrality legislation and incorporating complementary environmental stewardship options on surrounding landholdings.

We oversee the development of Habitat Management and Monitoring Plans (HMMPs), ensuring compliance with the BNG legislation and advising on practicalities of the implementation of habitat works and scheme management, as well as considering phasing of large-scale schemes to manage risk.

We are passionate about developing ambitious environmental initiatives while ensuring that habitat targets are realistic and achievable to ensure scheme success.
