We create a dedicated listing for each BNG scheme which is found on our website’s BNG Search page. The interactive map enables developers to search for habitat banks by LPA area and National Character Area (NCA) to understand the availability of biodiversity units in proximity to their development site.
Additionally, we publish regular mailers to over 5,500 relevant market participants and industry bodies, which include industry insights and lists the BNG schemes and available biodiversity units for sale.
Our presence in the development sector enables us to actively approach developers, infrastructure projects and other relevant industry bodies to make them aware of the habitat banks as a solution to their off-site BNG requirements.
We advise on and agree a bespoke pricing structure for the biodiversity units generated from a BNG scheme. We then negotiate with prospective purchasers and agree detailed commercial terms for option or sale agreements, working with our client’s solicitor to document the agreement.
We have a system for managing the biodiversity unit capacity of habitat banks and register schemes and unit allocations on the Biodiversity Gain Sites Register.
