We are market leaders in the successful implementation of BNG schemes and have advised on numerous legal agreements to commit sites for this purpose and enable biodiversity units to be traded.
Where developments are delivering a surplus of biodiversity units in excess of planning requirements, we can help structure planning obligations in a way to allow the additional units to be sold or allocated to other schemes. We then assist with the marketing and sale of biodiversity units to third-parties where appropriate. To date we have transacted over £10m in biodiversity unit sales.
Determining suitable parties to deliver the physical works and ongoing management is integral to the success of an environmental scheme. We advise on suitable parties and negotiate appropriate contracts and payment structures.
